We are thrilled to share January’s Client Spotlight, Lisa Peters! Lisa has been a part of the No Limits Fitness family for almost a year, and her story is very inspiring!
This busy grandmother, mother, and wife made her health a priority and has had amazing results! Lisa even completed not one, but two levels of FitRanX Testing in one day! What a rock star! Lisa is a great role model for her family and friends and proves that you can improve your health and get into shape at any age. Way to go, Lisa!
Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote?
A: Of course it’s hard! It’s supposed to be hard. If it were easy, everybody would do it! Hard is what makes it great!

Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals?
A: To be in the best health I can be and to grow stronger each day.
Q: What ONE thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard to reach your goals?
A: Setting goals for myself and achieving them.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us?
A: I am 56 years old, married 31 years and have two children…Shannon, who works out with me at NLF and has also had amazing results too, and my other daughter Kelsey. I have three grandchildren who are my world.
I have always been active in some sort of way, but other gyms and programs never gave me the results I have had at NLF. About two years ago, my daughter Kelsey was getting married so I signed up for the “Little Black Dress” challenge. Due to my life being so hectic at that time I couldn’t commit 100% the way I wanted to. Then in January of 2018, I signed up for the 6 week program and I had amazing results! I lost 19lbs and a significant amount of body fat.
Q: How has No Limits Fitness made a difference in your life?
A: I have had amazing results and feel that I have more energy to keep up with my grandchildren and be a healthier me!
Q: What kinds of milestones have you accomplished and what specific results have you achieved so far?
A: I passed FitRanX testing levels 1, 2 and 3 and look forward to completing level 4. I have also had significant weight loss and am feeling stronger every day.
Q. What made you decide to want to join No Limits Fitness?
A: After trying the gym out through the 6 week challenge and seeing the great results, I had there was no question that NLF was where I wanted to work out.
Q. What kinds of results have you achieved so far?
A: From January 2018 to now I have lost 30lbs. Waking up for the 5:15am session everyday is worth it and the group of people I work out with are great!
Q. What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?
A: Give it a try, start with a challenge like I did and see if the gym is a good fit for you. It sure was for me; you never know until you try.
Q: What is your “word” of the year?!
A: Consistency
