A: Reach for the moon, even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars
Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals?
A: To not be “skinny fat” but to be strong and healthy.
Q: What ONE thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard to reach your goals?
A: My kids. I want them to have a mom who can do all the things they want to do and to have a role model to look up to and learn healthy habits young so they don’t end up in the same place I was.
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us?
A: Prior to Covid I was mostly a work from home mom who suffered a medical issue that led me to start gaining a lot of weight, then Covid hit and I really packed on the weight which led me to a back injury that took me out. I realized I was on a very painful road if I didn’t change my lifestyle and I had seen “the little black dress” adds on Facebook for No Limits and decided to jump in.
Q: How has No Limits Fitness made a difference in your life?
A: Honestly, everything has improved for me. I’m stronger than I have ever been in my life, my moods are more stable, my self-confidence, and my overall health has just soared.
Q: What kinds of milestones have you accomplished and what specific results have you achieved so far?
A: When I first started one of my main goals was to fit back into my clothes… I have dropped 4 sizes since I started. Another big accomplishment for me is being able to hold my kids… at 10 & 14 I love it!
Q. What made you decide to join No Limits Fitness?
A: Knowing myself, I knew I needed to be held accountable and guided in my workouts. After talking to the staff prior to coming in I already felt excited like I was going to see a friend the first time I walked in the door.
Q. What was the obstacle that almost prevented you from joining?
A: The price, I was nervous when I spoke to my husband about it, however it has been worth every penny and now I don’t even think about it because I know how much value I receive.
Q. What has exceeded your expectations since joining?
A: The genuine friendships I have made with the staff and the amount of support everyone, staff and members alike, give to each other. Also, the results have been incredible in ways I never imagined.
Q. What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?
A: This isn’t a sprint, so get started now. You don’t need to wait for that “perfect time” or till you reach that mental goal you’ve set in your head. Just start! Know that you will not be alone, we’ve all been there, and will be excited for you as you grow on your journey!
Q. What is your “word” for this year?
A: Ugh… do I have to have a “word”? Hmmm… I guess if I have to pick, I will go with conquer - I’m turning 40 this year and I am determined to Conquer my 40’s!
