Our November spotlight has had amazing results, even with her extremely busy work schedule. Kim has been a member of No Limits Fitness for over 6 months and is a great example of consistency and dedication despite her long work hours. Besides hitting her body weight goal, she’s gained a lot of strength. Kim increased her bench press from 65lbs to 95lbs!! We are inspired and we know you will be too!
Q: What is your favorite inspirational quote?
A: "Me puse Las pilas!" It translates to, I put the batteries in! My mom always said that to me when I was going to college. It inspires me to do my best.
Q: What are your personal health and fitness goals?
A: It’s important to me to stay healthy and fit! I want to go past my limits and keep surprising myself.
Q: What ONE thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work hard to reach your goals?
A: The future. Knowing that I'm changing myself for my future keeps me excited!
Q: Can you tell us a little bit about yourself and how you got started with us?
A: I work at Kennedy Space Center as a Safety Specialist, and I was watching myself get stuck in a rut. I decided to change and finally accomplish my new year’s goals of losing weight.
Q: How has No Limits Fitness made a difference in your life?
A: It's changed my perspective on going to the gym and provided some fun opportunities. NLF gave me the body I always imagined.
Q: What kinds of milestones have you accomplished and what specific results have you achieved so far?
A: I made it to my 125 lb. goal weight! I achieved a flat stomach!
Q. What made you decide to join No Limits Fitness?
A: I learned about NLF from my doctor. When I went in for my body measurements and saw how the gym operated, I was interested in joining.
Q. What was the obstacle that almost prevented you from joining?
A: Finances and work schedule.
Q. What has exceeded your expectations since joining?
A: What I can accomplish. I was disappointed at myself when I started for how little I can do. Now, I can surpass that!
Q. What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change & committing to their goals?
A: I would first ask them if they want to make a change. If so, then they need to start small and, in a while, they will see everything they achieved.
Q. What is your “word” for this year?
A: Rest. We are so proud of you, Kim! Keep up the amazing work. 💪
